There's a small tweak you need to install your virtual Kali within UTM. Or I'll set the Kali VM to NAT from my MBP. If I need to have my BSP traffic/attacks come from the same source IP as my Kali traffic/attacks, I'll just simply setup a local SSH proxy from my MacBook to the Kali box and proxy the BSP traffic through.

Note, I'm not using Burp Suite Pro within the VM. Burp Suite Pro also runs flawlessly on my M1 Mac. You might also find quite a lot of tools exist natively in homebrew (nmap, gobuster, metasploit framework etc) and they all work just as well as within Kali. I have a virtualized (not emulated!) headless Kali box that runs within UTM perfectly fine.
